Honoring Excellence
The ceremony shone a spotlight on distinguished figures beyond the graduating class. Their presence added a layer of prestige to an already significant day.
Words of Wisdom
Chancellor M. Mohan Babu, presiding over the event, reflected on the institution's evolution from an engineering college to a full-fledged university. With pride, he noted that over 25,000 alumni now hold prominent positions as Collectors, government officials, and political leaders. "Education attains true fulfilment only when accompanied by discipline, courtesy and honesty," he told the attentive crowd.
Pro-Chancellor Manchu Vishnu struck a more personal chord. He reminded graduates that their "true journey" begins now, urging them to face societal challenges with confidence. His voice carried warmth as he emphasized core values: "Never forget the four guiding principles — Mother, Father, Teacher and God — regardless of the heights you attain. Move forward while cherishing the sacrifices made by your parents."
A Gathering of Leaders
The convocation drew notable figures to the stage. A.C. Shanmugam, Founder Chancellor of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute in Chennai, served as chief guest, while Anuradha Prasad, Chairperson and Managing Director of B.A.G. Films and Media Pvt. Ltd., attended as guest of honor. Their participation underscored the university's growing influence in education and beyond.
