A woman from Uttar Pradesh has allegedly defrauded multiple men out of a total of Rs 6 crore after connecting with them on the popular dating platform Tinder, as reported by NDTV.

The Extortion Scheme

According to details surrounding the case, the suspect targeted men on Tinder by initially establishing friendly relationships. Once rapport was built, the interactions transitioned into blackmail, forcing the victims to pay substantial amounts of money.

The total sum extracted through the alleged blackmail operation has been estimated at Rs 6 crore.
