By 7 p.m., Raiparthy in Warangal had logged 95.8 mm, while Vankulam in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad registered 93.8 mm. Wardhannapet, Kesamudram, and Kagaznagar also saw significant totals, with readings of 81.8 mm, 78.3 mm, and 76.5 mm respectively. The rains didn’t spare the southern districts either—Karepalle in Khammam recorded 65 mm, and Burgampahad in Bhadradri Kothagudem received 64.5 mm.

Hyderabad’s Cloudy Reprieve

Hyderabad, often longing for such weather, enjoyed a day under thick clouds. Intermittent drizzle graced several localities, though the rainfall was modest. Moula Ali led with 32.3 mm, followed by Ghatkesar at 22.5 mm. Areas like Adibatla, Nagole, LB Nagar, Hayathnagar, and Charminar saw lighter showers, ranging from 3.5 mm to 5.8 mm. The city’s residents welcomed the break from the heat, even if the rains were gentle.
