Published by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), the new international, peer-reviewed journal seeks to provide a dedicated forum for examining ongoing developments and structural challenges across the tertiary education ecosystem. The maiden release centers on the guiding theme, “Universities in the Twenty-First Century: Renewal, Reforms and Roadmaps.”

While unveiling the inaugural issue (covering January to June 2026), Governor Shukla commended the Council for taking concrete steps toward nurturing a culture of inquiry, intellectual exchange, and rigorous scholarship statewide. Platforms like the TJHE, he noted, are vital for bringing together faculty, researchers, students, and policymakers to dissect emerging problems and evaluate creative approaches for institutional reform.

Advancing Academic Priorities

Expressing appreciation for the Governor’s patronage, TSCHE Chairman V. Balakishta Reddy pointed out that the publication reflects the Council’s sustained pursuit of research quality and intellectual excellence across Telangana’s colleges and universities.

During the interaction, Chairman Reddy also briefed Governor Shukla on preparations for the forthcoming research education advancement conclave, which is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on September 26.
